Hi there,

Due to new global regulations the card-issuing banks have modified the list of countries where USD Prepaid Visa cards can be issued and spent. Any Visa USD Gift Cards issued after December 21st, 2022, will be affected by these changes. All gift cards issued before this date will not experience any changes and can be redeemed as is.

With this announcement, we are taking the opportunity to further advance our gift card program (both Gartner funded, and Vendor funded). With this change, we are adding the Tango Card Reward Links product in 25+ currencies and Visa Prepaid Card in CAD & INR currencies along with continuing to offer Visa Prepaid Card in USD currency.

*Please note Visa Gift Cards will still be able to be selected by reviewers using USD, CAD & INR currencies. However, reviewers may experience issues redeeming in countries operating outside of those currencies.

The Reward Link product is a web link that lets recipients choose from the most popular gift-card brands. This is the easiest way to reward and incentivize your reviewers. Reward Link will be offered in 25+ different currencies. Reviewers will be able to choose which country & currency they prefer to receive the Reward Link for.

Due to platform upgrades when switching to Rewards Link, we will be temporarily pausing the issuance of vendor funded gift cards for countries outside of the United States due to Visa USD regulations from December 21st- Middle of January.

For Vendors - no action needed on your part. During this pause when a review is approved, we will send an email to the reviewer with the following verbiage:

“For non-USD rewards: To maintain compliance with global regulations, we are making necessary changes in our rewards program. You will be receiving the gift card within 3-4 weeks in your email. In the meantime, we suggest you to select the Gift Card you would like to receive.”

Upon receiving the “Approved Review Email” reviewers will be able to select which Reward Link they would like to be sent once we resume issuing in middle of January.

Please stay tuned for further announcements on the usage of Reward Link for vendors.
